I love making art in many varied form's. Each day is interesting and exciting to watch things take shape, whether tiles for mosaic collage or little clay birds, or simply putting the wires on the back of a painting I've just completed. I have the good fortune to be able to work at what I love and what I have always done since very earliest days.

My artist parents often kept my sister and I busy by giving us art supplies and mom often said I was always making "snitzels" (cutting up paper into little bits). I derive the same pleasure in the process of creation now as I did then, though my medium is more often clay than paper. Involvement in assembling a mosaic mirror, much like assembling a puzzle without the box lid or perhaps like quilting.
A trip to deliver work to Robin's new space had me painting designs on the walls of the new bathroom and that led to a fun mosaic mirror to suit the space (it's for sale of course, I'll make more).
My favorite quote from Elbert Hubbard is "Art is not a thing, it is a way."
